This workshop focuses on methods to keep predators away from small livestock, such as chickens and pigs. Join us at the Moon-Randolph Homestead, where we are surrounded by bears, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, skunks, raptors, and other predators, and we manage our livestock to prevent interactions with wildlife. Join Sandy Perrin from Missoula County Extension for a soil science workshop for gardeners. This workshop will cover the basics of soil science, soil testing, soil test interpretation, and soil building techniques. Glass Pathways Installation: A volunteer event & community social

MUD is installing repurposed glass pathway at this volunteer event & community social. Recycled, tumbled glass sourced from Missoula's (I.E.) Recycling will be used as a permeable walkway that is both beautiful and functional! Glass pebbles will be poured into a cell-web substrate made of hard recycled plastic forming a stable & handicap accessible surface.  Using GravelPave2 substrate, this project is a demonstration of how we can use a waste product to create porous pathways in Missoula's parks and community…
